The Book

Designing Change is Mohsin Memon’s forthcoming book on how human beings learn, adapt, and transform.

At the heart of the book is the AFERR Model: Activation, Forecasting, Experimentation, Realization, and Reflection. Developed through years of work in game-based learning, behavioral observation, leadership development, and change design, AFERR offers a human framework for understanding how people move from awareness to action, from experience to insight, and from insight to lasting change.

The book is written for designers, facilitators, educators, coaches, leaders, and changemakers who are no longer satisfied with surface-level learning or temporary behavior change. It explores how to create learning opportunities that are meaningful enough to activate people, safe enough for experimentation, clear enough for realization, and deep enough for reflection.

Designing Change is not simply a book about learning.

It is a book about becoming.
